General Rules for ALL classes:
No changes or modification allowed unless specified in the class rules. If these rules do not
specifically allow a change or modification, it is assumed that the change or modification is
NOT allowed.
1- Must agree to all decisions made by officials, uncontested.
2- NO drug or alcohol use before or during races.
3- Tech inspections are mandatory at every race pre-tech and post-tech.
4- You must wear a full face helmet. Helmet must be properly secured.
5- Absolutely no picking up sled on line or use of stands to clean track at line up.
6- Tech may remove sled at any time if deemed unsafe.
7- Flak jacket and knee protection are recommended.
8- Clutches must have guards. (Aluminum or steel, NO Plastic)
9- If you are in the top 5 in a final, you can and will be torn down for the techs. Any tear down REFUSALS will be disqualified and lose all points for the season. If you give tech or track officials any problems, you will be suspended from these races.
10- When Registration is closed, there are no refunds.
11- A 250 enticer will be allowed in youth and women's class.
12- All sleds must have padding on ski-tips. (pipe foam taped on works)
13- Youth class must have a working red light on the back of the sled. (min 4in in width)
14- All ski tips MUST be padded.
15- Tear downs will happen if tech decides to do so. Drivers may also put up $200.00 to have someone torn down, if you have reason to believe that they are illegal. Only a driver of a sled in the same class is allowed to force a teardown (no outside loudmouths). If they are illegal, you will get your money back. If they are LEGAL you will give them $200.00 for the hassle. The money must be presented and held by an MVSR official during teardown. Tear down must be for a specific part or component (not a wild chase on a theory).
16- Ski tip color is mandatory for all distance races.
